Intervals create relationships between pitches.
Scales organize those relationships.
Chords emerge from them.

After an orientation to the instrument, lessons begin with music that interests you.
The fundamentals aren't presented as isolated subjects. They emerge naturally through playing, listening, exploring, and discovering the relationships within the music.
Beginning students
You might begin with one finger and a simple melody.
As you play, you begin discovering the instrument, the location of notes, patterns, movement, and relationships between sounds.
Then the music expands:
Melody → Technique → Harmony → Expression
You experience musical relationships before you necessarily have names for them.
